Process
How to send a parcel - step by step
1. Photo first - before sending
Send photos or a short video by WhatsApp or to tere@ombluslabor.ee with the repair description. We give a price guide before you pay for shipping.
2. Receive the parcel-locker address
If the preliminary estimate works for you, we confirm the Omniva, SmartPost or DPD locker nearest to our workshop.
3. Prepare the parcel
Pack the garment, protect it from moisture and include a note with your name, phone and work description. For several items, label each task.
4. Buy the label and send
Create the label in the carrier self-service or at the parcel locker, pay and send the parcel.
5. Final price and repair
When the parcel arrives, we inspect the garment, confirm the final price if needed and start after your approval. Most postal repairs are ready in 5-10 working days.
6. Receive it back
We pack the finished garment and send it back through the chosen parcel-locker network. If the repair value is at least 40 €, return shipping is free.

Tips
Practical tips before sending
Protect from moisture
Put the garment in a bag inside the box or mailer. Rain can touch packaging during handling.
Remove valuables
Take coins, keys and jewellery out of pockets. Carriers do not compensate small items left inside.
Label the task
Include a note with your name, phone and repair description. This speeds up intake.
Photograph before sending
Take photos of the garment and parcel in case a carrier claim is ever needed.
Mind the size limit
For bulky garments such as down jackets and coats, choose L or XL rather than squeezing.
Keep the tracking code
The code arrives by e-mail or SMS and shows parcel movement in real time.
Parcel insurance - do you need it?
Basic carrier liability usually covers loss or damage up to a limit. For medium-value clothing this is often enough. If you send an expensive garment such as a wedding or evening dress, designer coat or premium-brand piece, consider extended insurance.
Frequently asked questions about delivery
Which carrier is cheapest?
For most Estonian parcels, DPD and SmartPost are very close and often a little cheaper than Omniva. Omniva’s strength is network density.
Which locker does Õmbluslabor use?
We use lockers near the workshop in all three networks. The exact address is sent after the first conversation.
Do I need to print the label?
Usually no. Omniva, SmartPost and DPD let you use a barcode from the app or e-mail.
What if the parcel does not fit the chosen size?
Choose one size larger if unsure. The small price difference is better than a failed drop-off.
Can a courier collect from my home?
Yes, all three carriers offer door-to-door courier service. It costs more but is useful for large parcels.
Who pays for shipping?
You pay the first shipment to us. Return shipping is added to the estimate; if the repair value is at least 40 €, return shipping is free.
